The authors devote decades to conduct field studies in Taiwan and its surrounding islands. This book features 105 native Taiwan jewel beetles with high-quality photos and images of genital apparatus of each species. Readers can take this guide to identify rare or tiny species. The book also serves as a valuable resource for academic studies.

Vol.2
Covers an additional 100 species of jewel beetles in Taiwan, including 73 endemic species, 8 endemic subspecies, and 5 new recorded species. This book presents high-quality pictures and provides information on the host plants, occurrence period, type locality, distribution, and photographs of male genitalia for 98 species.
